“It was a true blessing to count Sister Jean among the Friends of Aid for Women. As we mourn her passing into eternal life on October 9th at the age of 106, we pay tribute to her ability to touch millions of lives around the world with her warmth, smile, and deep faith in God. We also admired Sister Jean’s tireless dedication to the Loyola University men’s basketball program, and her steadfast encouragement for each of its members. We were honored to have Sister Jean join us at our 2018 Annual Benefit Dinner at which Governor Mike Huckabee served as our Keynote Speaker. May Sister Jean’s example remind us all to celebrate life and treat others with kindness, from conception until natural death.”
