Trey Gowdy was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After completing law school, he gained valuable experience clerking for judges at both the state and federal levels. In January of 2019, he joyfully returned to South Carolina to practice law, teach classes with his close friend Senator Tim Scott, and share his insights on important legal issues. Trey is also an accomplished author and the host of a television show and podcast.
